Weixin Chen

I am a third-year PhD student in Computer Science at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, advised by Prof. Han Zhao.

Before that, I obtained my M.E. degree in Artificial Intelligence from Tsinghua University and B.S. degree in Mathematics from Sun Yat-sen University. I also worked as a research intern at CUHK-Shenzhen, advised by Prof. Baoyuan Wu, and at UIUC, advised by Prof. Bo Li.

My research interests lie in leveraging neuro-symbolic frameworks to advance trustworthiness in machine learning, with a focus on interpretability, robustness, generalization, and causality. Please feel free to contact me if you’d like to chat on related topics:)
